Our Founder

Sahasra is a high school senior from California. She founded Be the Cure after noticing how few stem cell donations were towards ethnic minorities while volunteering at her local hospital. As the Founder and Director, she is responsible for establishing the nonprofit’s mission, overseeing chapters, managing volunteer teams, and working with partners to spread the mission further. She enjoys working closely with chapter members and volunteers to advance Be the Cure's goals and represents the organization in public, media, and advocacy settings.
