At Be the Cure, we hope to bridge the gap between ethnic communities and medical resources. Cross-cultural educaiton is important because language and other cultural barrieres are among the biggest obstacles to equitable access to medical information and participation in life-saving efforts like stem cell donation. Our team of ethnically diverse Be the Cure volunteers translates and tailors information regarding stem cell donation to ensure that more communities, especially Asian minority communities, can be better informed. These accurate, clear translations are verified by native speakers and educators.
